Data Analytics Manager

The Data Analytics Manager directs the integration of data analytics and business intelligence across service lines to support Neighborhood Health Center’s mission. Provides direction and oversight of the Data Team to execute the data strategy of the Center. This position supports internal stakeholders in data-driven decision making for key strategic initiatives and will actively influence metric development on these strategic initiatives.

Essential job duties:

  • Oversee the Data Analytics and Insights team:
    • Provide supervision, coaching and performance management.
    • Develop annual budget needs for Director review.
    • Conduct hiring process for open positions.
    • Coordinate staff training (initial orientation and ongoing development).
    • Facilitate corrective and disciplinary actions in consultation with HR Department.
  • Manage and support report designs, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end- user information portals.
  • Identify and manage implementation and administration of business intelligence reporting tools.
  • Partner with data analyst to build and maintain reports utilizing data visualization tools.  This includes dashboards and visualizations supporting financial reporting, productivity reporting, metrics performance, and capacity management. 
  • Work collaboratively Electronic Health Records provider and other partners to meet data reporting and data integration needs.

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field is required.
  • At least five years’ experience in data analytics is required.
  • A combination of experience and education that would likely provide the knowledge and abilities may be qualifying.
  • Expert in Office Products (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, etc.) is required.
  • SQL, Crystal Reports experience is required.
  • Experience managing a team is required.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is preferred.
  • Experience with statistics and statistical reporting preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health records systems (EHR), Epic preferred.
  • Experience with clinical reporting and analysis preferred.
