EHR Support Analyst I

This position supports Epic users as the EHR expert and technical support for all Epic applications

Essential job duties:

  • Manages Epic Outlook mailbox and/or ticket requests by prioritizing and responding to staff requests
  • Opens and monitors JIRA support tickets
  • Answers the Epic staff phone line
  • Assists with orientation and training for new Epic users in collaboration with the Epic Trainers
  • Build and manage all provider and resource scheduling templates and coordinate and communicate with department leaders as needed

Education and experience:

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Associate’s Degree or a graduate of an accredited medical or dental training program with at least two years’ experience in that role is preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years of Epic experience is required; OCHIN Epic experience preferred
  • Epic super-user training and basic IT knowledge preferred
  • Current EHR Support Analyst Certification is required; or must be obtained within three months of employment
  • Clinical Content Builder Certification if clinically certified/licensed or Advanced EHR Support Analyst Certification if non-clinical preferred
