Our leadership team provides overall direction and administration of NHC’s health center operations. Executives work with staff, stakeholders, and the NHC Board of Directors to ensure care innovation and sound service delivery for every neighbor across every clinic.

Jeri Weeks, MBA

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Education:  Master of Business Administration from City University, Seattle, WA

I joined NHC in 2012 and have over 35 years of experience in healthcare administration.

What I do at NHC:  I provide senior leadership to collaborative care initiatives, have secured numerous grants for the agency, and have implemented an improved patient access process resulting in an increase in provider productivity of 25% over a one-year period.  I bring a thorough understanding of community health centers to my role at NHC, having served as a Medical Receptionist at the beginning of my career and now serving the Board of Directors at NHC.

Ann Tseng, MD, MBA

CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Education:  Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine

I joined NHC in 2021 and have over 15 years of experience practicing family medicine.

What I do at NHC:  I ensure we provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care in all our medical clinics, including through my own work as a provider at our Tanasbourne Medical Clinic.  With extensive previous experience supervising faculty and resident physicians, I also oversee our team of providers in their clinical practice.

Jonathan Hall, DMD

CHIEF DENTAL OFFICER

Education:  Doctor of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, OR

I joined NHC in 2013 and have almost 10 years of experience practicing dentistry.

What I do at NHC:  I oversee the dental program at NHC, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered dental care, especially in my own work as a provider at NHC Tanasbourne Dental Clinic.  I am an active member of the National Health Service Corps and am dedicated to raising awareness of and promoting the oral health care of the Hispanic community.

Blain A. West, CPA

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Education:  Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR

I joined NHC in 2012 and have over 10 years of experience managing organizational finances.

What I do at NHC:  I provide NHC with financial expertise in viability and sustainability, stemming from my experience working as an accounting manager with the Tillamook County Health Department.  I oversee the finance department and organizational operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and government funding compliance.

Alynn Vienot, EDPH, MPH

Director of Dental Program Operations

Education:  Master of Public Health from Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR

I joined NHC in 2011 and have over 15 years of experience in community health centers.

What I do at NHC:  I am passionate about oral disease prevention and empowering patients to improve their health and have been integral to establishing NHC’s preventive dental services in school-based health centers and other community-based settings.

Amanda Miller, MPAS, PA-C

Medical Director of Clinical Informatics

Education:  Masters of Arts in in Physician Assistance Studies from Oregon Health & Science University, Portland, OR

I joined NHC in 2022 and have 5 years of experience in clinical leadership.

What I do at NHC:  I provide collaborative leadership for the IT and EPIC teams with a medical provider lens and support the Quality Improvement team's clinical workflow enhancement.

Angela Hall, RN, MN

Director of Nursing and Clinical Services

Education:  Master's of Nursing in Population Health, with an emphasis in Nursing Leadership from Washington State University, Pullman, WA

I joined NHC in 2022 and have over 10 years of experience in nursing management and leadership.

What I do at NHC:  I am an advocate for our nursing staff, providing leadership to ensure our nurses have the proper training, skillsets, and guidance to provide quality care for our patients.

Angela Searls, MBA

Director of Human Resources

Education:  Master of Business Administration from Willamette University, Salem, OR

I joined NHC in 2021 and have almost 20 years of experience in various levels of HR.

What I do at NHC:  I oversee the implementation and development of an internal Human Resources department at NHC from the ground up.  I am simultaneously working towards a Training and Development Certificate from Portland State University’s Graduate School of Education.

Gregory Guffanti, MD

Medical Director, Primary Care Operations

Education:  Doctor of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA

I joined NHC in 2014 and have 10 years of experience in family medicine.

What I do at NHC:  I provide medical leadership for our primary care providers and clinical staff, ensuring they have the appropriate training, skillsets, and guidance to provide quality care for our patients.

Jenna Wilson-Crain, ND, MSN, MAAT

Director of Clinical Outcomes and CAM Services

Education:  Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine, Portland, OR

I joined NHC in 2015 and have over 5 years of experience in clinic outcome management.

What I do at NHC:  I oversee the Community Health Worker Department, Membership and Engagement Department, Data and Analytics Department, complementary and alternative medical services, and student shadowing program.  I also evaluate patient care and financial data to ensure care is provided in accordance with organizational standards.

Jennifer McElravey, PharmD, BCACP

Director of Pharmacy

Education:  Doctor of Pharmacy from Idaho State University, Pocatello, ID

I joined NHC in 2023 and have over 15 years of experience in community health pharmaceutical leadership.

What I do at NHC:  I oversee all of NHC’s pharmacy operations including clinical pharmacy, dispensing pharmacy services, and 340B operations.

Megan Brophy, PMP, MBA

Director of Information Technology and Facilities

Education:  Master of Business Administration from George Fox University, Newberg, OR

I joined NHC in 2023 and have over 20 years of experience in information technology management and leadership.

What I do at NHC:  I oversee information technology at NHC.  I also manage the facilities to ensure all staff have the support they need to perform to the best of their ability.

Melissa Nystrom, JD

Director of Quality Improvement

Education:  Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA

I joined NHC in 2020 and have 8 years of experience in FQHC leadership.

What I do at NHC: As the Director of Quality Improvement, I oversee NHC’s performance improvement activities.  We are always focused on the quadruple aim – improving patient care, improving patient and provider satisfaction, and reducing cost.  During COVID, I have taken the lead on organizational efforts to comply with COVID-19 safety measures.

Nicole Watson

Director of Primary Care Operations

Education:  Bachelors of Arts in Social Work and Sociology from Pacific University, Forest Grove, OR

I joined NHC in 2022 and have 8 years of experience in primary care practice management.

What I do at NHC:  With a passion for patient care and accessibility, I provide leadership for the management and development of NHC's primary care clinics and operations, including overseeing and supporting clinic managers, the call center, and the referral and panel coordinator teams.

Penny L. Moore, MA

Director of Development and Communications

Education:  Master of Arts in Communication from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK

I joined NHC in 2013 and have almost 25 years of experience in development and communications.

What I do at NHC:  I develop and execute the organization’s fundraising plan, strategic communication and marketing strategies, and interorganizational communications.  I also act as the board liaison, responsible for NHC Board of Director relations through recruitment, development, and training.

Sara Hergic-Sehovic, LPC, MBA

Director of Behavioral Health

Education:  Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Lewis and Clark College, Portland, OR

I joined NHC in 2023 and have over 10 years of experience in behavioral healthcare.

What I do at NHC:  I oversee and support our behavioral health team and the expansion of our behavioral health program. I ensure that behavioral health is fully integrated as part of whole person patient care at NHC.

Sherrill Martin

Director of Finance

Education:  Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, Eastern Oregon University, La Grande, OR

I joined NHC in 2019 and have over 10 years of experience in organizational financial management.

What I do at NHC:  I plan, develop, and finalize the annual budget and maintain relationships with other departments to complete cross-departmental financial goals.  I have provided financial modeling for the acquisition of two primary care clinics and lead the movement to make the finance department a paperless environment.

Van Nielsen

Director of Risk and Compliance

Education:  Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Eastern Washington University, Cheney, WA

I joined NHC in 2020 and have almost 10 years of experience in risk and compliance at FQHCs.

What I do at NHC:  I lead development and administration of the Risk Management Team, including promoting a culture of organizational safety to ensure staff feel comfortable reporting incidents without fear of retaliation.  I also support the management of malpractice and employment claims and investigations.
