At NHC, care doesn't stop at the clinic door. Throughout the year, we bring free services, resources, and good company right to your neighborhood because healthy communities are built together. Everyone is welcome at our events (no appointment or insurance is needed). We'd love to see you there!

Tanasbourne Health Fair | Canby Health Fair | Teen Health Expo
Tanasbourne Community Health Fair
Every August, NHC celebrates National Health Center Week by hosting our annual Community Health Fair. For over 11 years, we have brought free health services and community resources right to your neighborhood, and this year is no different.
Join us Saturday, August 8, from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Providence Tanasbourne Parking Lot, 10690 NE Cornell Rd., Hillsboro. This event is free and open to everyone in the community. No appointment needed. No insurance required. Just show up!
Free services include:
- Vision screenings
- Blood pressure checks
- Dental health checks
- Car seat checks (9–11 AM only)
- OHP insurance help
- Fresh local produce
- Hands-on activities
- Community organization resources
- Free gifts and prizes!
As you visit each booth, you'll get your punch or stamp card validated for completing activities or receiving services. Once your card is full, redeem it for $10 worth of farm market produce to take home. Kids get their own game card too — complete it for an event-themed backpack, coloring books, and games.

Canby Community Health Fair
NHC is bringing free health services and community resources to Canby for the very first time!
Join us Saturday, September 12, from 11 AM to 1:30 PM at Wait Park, 227 NW 3rd Ave, Canby, Oregon. This event is free and open to everyone in the community. No appointment needed. No insurance required. Just show up!
This year, we're partnering with Bridging Cultures for their final "Saturday in the Park," bringing food, music, and fun for a morning worth celebrating.
Free services include:
- Vision screenings
- Dental screenings
- Blood pressure checks
- OHP insurance help
- $10 Farmer's Market produce vouchers, while supplies last
- Community acupuncture (provided by Bridging Cultures)
- Lead/soil testing on site (provided by Bridging Cultures)
- Community organization resources
- Free gifts and prizes!

Teen Health Expo
Join us for this year's Teen Health Expo on Wednesday, September 16, from 4 pm to 7 pm in Forest Grove!
This free, annual event provides health education, community resources, job opportunities, and more for teens and young adults ages 12-24. The Teen Health Expo is held in partnership between Neighborhood Health Center and Washington County. The event will be held next to the Forest Grove Farmers Market on 21st Avenue between Main Street and College Way.
