Community Events
We're dedicated to meeting the needs of our neighbors, in our clinics and out in the community. NHC hosts many community events throughout the year. You don't have to be a patient to attend our events. Everyone is welcome! View our upcoming community events below.
Community Health Fair
Every August for the past nine years, NHC has hosted an annual health fair in honor of National Health Center Week, featuring vendors and community partners providing free services to attendees, such as vision screenings and dental check-ups.
Health fair attendees are given a punch or stamp card to present at each booth for validation upon completing educational activities or receiving services. Once a card is complete, attendees can redeem it for $10 worth of farm market produce to take home. A similar game card is given to children to complete and redeem for an event-themed backpack, coloring books, and games.

Hillsboro Teen Expo
This year's Teen Expo, originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 9 from 5 - 7:30pm at NHC Hillsboro Reproductive Health Clinic, has been postponed due to extreme weather conditions. Check back for updates on rescheduling.
This free, annual event provides health education, community resources, job opportunities, and more for teens and young adults ages 12-24. Our Tuesday Walk-In Teen Clinic will be open for visitors to meet with healthcare professionals about issues that matter to them. This event is held in partnership between Neighborhood Health Center and Washington County.
