Neighborhood Health Center (NHC) is a federally funded health center deemed by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA). Our covered individuals are considered Public Health Service employees for purposes of federal malpractice liability protection. In fiscal year 2024, we received $3,390,396 in federal assistance (8.4% of organizational costs), with 93% from non-governmental sources.
