Helping our patients find the resources they need to thrive is an important part of our care — both in and outside the clinic.

Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon's SOAR Legal Services provides affordable, culturally competent legal help and education for individuals not currently status-verified across Oregon. Contact them at (503) 384-2482.

Legal navigation services
Latino Network’s Culturally Specific Legal Navigation Services helps families not currently status-verified in Multnomah County understand their options and connect with legal and social services. Their website also lists trusted legal help in Oregon.
legal advocacy and translation services
Pueblo Unido helps individuals at risk of deportation by providing legal service navigation, advocacy, and translation. They also assist people in ICE custody or facing deportation in finding attorneys and gathering evidence for their cases. Contact their team by calling (503) 360-0324.

Community Support
adult education for latina women
Adelante Mujeres supports Latina women and their families in Washington County with education, leadership training, and business development. Their Adult Education Program offers GED classes, English language learning, health and wellness support, and leadership training.

Hacienda Community Development provides affordable housing, home ownership education, and support for families at risk of foreclosure.

Centro Cultural serves the Latinx community in Washington County with services like senior support, food boxes, housing assistance, and career mentoring through the Prosperidad program.

Latino Network’s Early Childhood Education Program offers bilingual programs for Latino/x children and families, including early education, school wellness, youth empowerment, and violence prevention.
afterschool youth services
The Chicas Youth Development Program at Adelante Mujeres provides afterschool programs at 29 public schools, helping Latina/x youth develop leadership skills, build cultural identity, and succeed in school.
steam development programs
Centro Cultural’s Youth Development Program offers year-round education in science, technology, engineering, art, and math, including Lego robotics and a four-week summer program.
early childhood support
Portland Niños at Hacienda Community Development supports families with young children (birth to age five) in Multnomah County through parenting groups, education, and home visits. Programs help kids get ready for kindergarten in both Spanish and English.
